JUSTIN EDWARD WINGENFIELD

Justin is presently a 5th year Architectural Engineering student at The Pennsylvania State University. He will be graduating in May 2009 with a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering focusing in Construction Management. After May, he plans on seeking permanent employment with a large general contractor.

Over the past two years, Justin has been fortunate enough to intern with two highly reputable construction companies, Clark Construction based out of Bethesda, Maryland and Benchmark Construction based out of Brownstown, PA, as well as work part-time during the school year for Penn State’s Office of Physical Plant. These internships have given him experience in not only the project management and field side of the construction industry but also a feel from the owner’s perspective. All of this has further increased his knowledge of the industry and proven to be very valuable in his studies.

Aside from his studies, Justin has also been an active member in S: PACE (the Student chapter of the Partnership for Achieving Construction Excellence) for the last three years and was elected an officer for the 2008-2009 school year.

Justin’s most memorable college experience was his study abroad in Rome. Over the 7 weeks of classes and an additional week of traveling afterwards, he saw many amazing things, became a worldlier and better rounded person, and got to know people that have become some of his best friends.
